Hope Explored

Over the summer months you'll no doubt hear about events, festivals and clubs that are happening in and around Eastbourne and we encourage you to take part!

There are many ways you can involved, such as helping out with the planning and logistics, telling people about the event or offering prayer or financial support. Whether it's an event you want to get involved in or whether you're looking for ways to engage with people in your local community, here's a few of ideas:

Saturday morning breakfast - Speak to your leaders about opening up your church on a Saturday morning and invite people to join in activities such as card making. You could event invite a speaker to deliver a 10 minute talk.
Films or games night - Organise a film or games night in your church or home and invite families to get involved.
Book Club - Arrange a book club with your neighbours so you can discuss what you've been reading. How about suggesting a book like J John's The Life or David Gregory's novel Dinner with a Perfect Stranger.

Events like these are opportunities to meet new people, and to share and explore the Hope which has freely been given to you.
